Where every Rutgers Asian goes- Noodle Gourmet

No matter how much I love fancy food and nice restaurants, I am still a poor college student who needs to watch over her budget.  Thanks to Noodle Gourmet on Easton Ave, I usually can get 2 meals in one order. (Which will cost me less than $10)

This is an Asian to-go-spot. I am not a big fan of noodle, but their rice dishes are not bad at all.
My favorites are the roast duck platter and beef, tomato& egg over rice. My brother's favorite is Gourmet U-don.

I got horrible service here once. The waiter yelled at my friend for asking him to pack our leftover. After that, I promised my self that I will never go back there again. But yes- after 3 months, I broke that promise. I think it is impossible for me to not eat at Noodle Gourmet during my time at Rutgers.

FYI: Their Sunset Paradise slush is famous. Try.

Le Rivage

This post will mainly be pictures of Le Rivage. I have been there so many times, in fact, this is the most visited restaurant that I go to in NYC.
I have an awesome aunt whom often takes me to Lincoln Center to see operas and ballets. This little French restaurant is a great place for you to have a pre-show lunch/dinner. 

I always come here for their prefix lunch special. You get a basket of bread, an appetizer, and entry, a dessert with coffee. How awesome is that?

This appetizer amazed me. This is my first time trying Duck Meat Terrine. Oh my, it is one of the most delicious thing I ever tasted.

Also, their Green Mussels baked with garlic is so perfect with the bread. A must have on your table.

I am always a big fan of duck. I was so surprised by the potion of this dish. I think they literally give you half of duck. It is so good, the crispy skin pairs with sour&sweet orange sauce. Yum.










Their dessert selection is pretty huge as well. But I will say my favorite is their creme brulee.

Thank you gugu, you are the best aunt in the world.
